CAIRO [MENL] -- The regime of President Omar Bashir said it has recapturedthe oil fields in the war-torn south. Officials said the military has stopped the offensive of the rebelSudanese People's Liberation Army. Earlier this month, the SPLA claimed tohave captured key roads that connect oil installations in the southernprovince of Al Wahda.
