CYPRUS VOWS TO HOLD EXERCISE WITH GREECE

NICOSIA [MENL] -- The Republic of Cyprus has pledged to hold a majorexercise with Greece within a few months. Cypriot officials said the exercise would be held in the middle of 2002after the end of the U.S. military campaign in Afghanistan. The officialssaid Greece has agreed to participate in a future exercise, but no detailswere given.
