IAI RECEIVES $110 MILLION CONTRACT FOR EROS

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- The state-owned Israel Aircraft Industries has beenawarded a $110 million contract to manufacture and launch the next in aseries ofIsrael's spy satellites. IAI's MBT division has been authorized to manufacture the Eros [EarthRemote Observation System] satellite. The Eros is meant to serve bothcivilian and military clients in providing high-resolution images. So far,the Israeli government is the biggest client of the Eros.
