SENATE VOTES TO EXTEND SANCTIONS ON IRAN, LIBYA

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The U.S. Senate has voted to extend sanctions on Iranand Libya for the next five years. The 96-2 vote allows for a reevaluation of the sanctions after 18months. The House was scheduled to vote on similar legislation.
