HAMAS CONTINUES TO OBTAIN ARAB SUPPORT

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- The U.S.-led campaign against counterterrorism doesn'tappear to have affected Arab government support for the Islamic insurgencyagainst Israel. Israeli military sources said several Arab countries wooed by Washingtonto join the anti-terrorism coalition continue to train Palestinians forIslamic terrorist attacks. The greatest beneficiary of this support, theysaid, has been Hamas.
