UN CITES ISRAELI, LEBANON VIOLATIONS OF BLUE LINE

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The United Nations has reported Israeli and Lebaneseviolations of the Security Council decision for a withdrawal of all forcesfrom that Arab country. A report by UN secretary-general Kofi Annan said both sides haveviolated the Blue Line that separates Israel and Lebanon. The line set bythe UN does not constitute the international border, but that set by theworld body for the Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon in May 2000.
