TURKEY ALLOWED TO TRANSFER U.S. WEAPONS

ANKARA [MENL] -- The United States has allowed Turkey to transferAmerican-made defense systems to third countries. The agreement opens the way for Ankara to send its systems for NATOcountries as well as Australia and Japan. This might include Ankara's plansto lease F-16s to Hungary.
