U.S. SEEKS TO PROTECT PILOTS IN IRAQI MISSIONS

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The United States has launched an effort to protect itspilots flying over Iraq. The effort is based on the assessment that Iraqi anti-aircraft firecould eventually shoot down one of the U.S. F-16 jets during flights overnorthern and southern Iraq.
