U.S. PLEDGES TO RESUME NAVY VISITS TO ISRAEL

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- The United States has pledged to resume naval visits toIsrael amid escalating Middle East tensions. U.S. officials said a visit by the U.S. Sixth Fleet is being planned forthe northern Israeli port of Haifa. They did not disclose a date.
