U..S STOPS JORDAN FROM SUPPLYING TANKS TO LEBANON

NICOSIA [MENL] -- The United States has stopped Jordan from sellingAmerican-built tanks to Lebanon. The assertion was made by Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri. Haririsaid Jordan wanted to donate 60 U.S.-built tanks to the Lebanese army.
