U.S. WARNS OF NEW ALERT IN GULF

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- The United States is warning of the prospect of Islamicinsurgency attacks against American citizens. U.S. officials said the State Department has obtained new intelligenceinformation that warned of an impending attack on American citizens orinstallations in the Persian Gulf and the Arabian Peninsula. The officialssaid the focus of the alert is Kuwait.
