U.S. TO HELP DEVELOPMENT OF UAE OIL FIELD

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- The United States will help in the development of a hugeoil field in the United Arab Emirates. The U.S. firm Matco Oil has signed a revenue sharing contract with theUAE emirates of Sharjah and Fujairah to develop an oil field with estimatedreserves of 12.5 billion barrels. The field is located on the border of thetwo emirates.
