TURKEY, N. CYPRUS LAUNCH MILITARY EXERCISE

NICOSIA [MENL] -- Turkey and Northern Cyprus has launched a militaryexercise amid rising concerns in both countries over the future of thedivided island. The two countries are participating in the "Toros-2001" exercise,regarded as one of the largest organized by Turkey this year. The exercise,which began on Monday, include ground, air and naval forces.
