TURKEY TO PURCHASE HAWK BATTERIES FROM U.S.

ANKARA [MENL] -- Turkey appears ready to conclude a deal to purchase Hawkanti-aircraft batteries from the United States. Officials said the Defense Ministry will purchase eight Hawk missilelaunchers from Washington. The batteries will be deployed to protect Turkishstrategic facilities.
