TURKEY ACCELERATES UAV PROJECT

ANKARA [MENL] -- Turkey's military has decided to accelerate procurement ofunmanned air vehicles to bolster preparations for any regional conflict. Turkish officials said the military will buy up to six UAV systemswithin the next three months. The officials said Ankara will speed up thetender process for the aircraft to bolster its reconnaissance capability.
