TURKEY'S MILITARY PROCEEDS WITH COMMUNICATIONS PROJECT

ANKARA [MENL] -- Turkey's military is nearing completion of a huge projectthat aims to establish a separate communications network. The military has launched a $200 million project to link all of itscommand centers with modern communications link. Under the program, termedthe Integrated Communication Systems, the military will lay 10,000kilometers of fiber-optic cable to transmit information.
