EGYPT EXTRADITES ARAFAT RIVAL TO GAZA

CAIRO [MENL] -- Egypt has extradited to the Gaza Strip a former head of PLOfinances wanted by Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat. Juweid Ghassin, a member of the PLO Executive Committee and former chiefof the Palestinian National Fund, was taken from a Cairo hospital where hewas undergoing treatment, and transferred to the Gaza Strip. Ghassin'sfamily said he was abducted by 10 Palestinian security officers and has notbeen heard from since.
