UAE APPEARS UNDECIDED OVER AIR TRAINER

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- The United Arab Emirates appears stuck over whether todevelop or procure an air force trainer. Gulf defense sources said the government in Abu Dhabi is being pressedto proceed with plans to develop the Mako aircraft trainer and light attackjet. Others are urging the Defense Ministry to purchase air trainers fromeither British or French companies.
