SUDAN GIVEN CLEAN BILL OF HEALTH BY IAEA

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- Sudan said it has been given a clean bill of healthby the International Atomic Energy Agency that Khartoum does not engage innuclear proliferation. The assertion was made after a visit by IAEA director-general MohammedEl Baradie to Khartoum. El Baradie visited Sudanese President Omar Bashir onDec. 23 to review Sudan's compliance with the IAEA regulations.
