EGYPT OBTAINS EUROPEAN ANTI-TERROR COOPERATION

CAIRO [MENL] -- After years of opposition, the European Union is cooperationwith Egyptian efforts against Islamic insurgents. Western diplomatic sources said several EU states are responding toEgypt's request for the extradition of fugitives wanted by Cairo for attacksagainst the regime. The sources said this includes Britain, which hasprocessed appeals for political asylum from fugitives wanted by Cairo.
