ISRAEL, U.S. FIRMS AGREE ON JOINT DEVELOPMENT
TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Defense firms from Israel and the United States haveagreed on joint development of a trainer system that could be deployed onthe new-generation F-22 fighter-jet. Israel's BVR Systems has signed a memorandum of understanding with theU.S. firm Smiths Aerospace for development of an integrated training suite.The project would integrate BVR's airborne embedded training system withSmith's airborne video solid state recorder.
