FRANCE, QATAR LAUNCH JOINT AIR EXERCISE

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- France and Qatar have launched a joint exercise of theirair forces. The Sky Watch 4 exercise began in the Persian Gulf on Saturday and willend on Feb. 13. They include the deployment of the French-built Mirage2000-5 jet fighters by both countries. About 80 percent of Qatar's militarysystems were purchased in France.
