U.S. AIR FORCE RETROFITS F-16 FLEET

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The U.S. Air Force has launched a retrofit of its F-16fleet to ensure commonality and interoperability with land and sea forces. The Pentagon's effort could affect the fleet of F-16s in U.S. allies inthe Middle East. Bahrain, Egypt, Israel and Jordan have F-16 fleets withdifferent configurations.
