TURKEY'S COS BEGINS MILITARY TALKS IN U.S.
WASHINGTON [MENL] -- Turkey's military chief began cooperation talks in theUnited States in the aftermath of an Islamic victory in his country. Chief of Staff Gen. Hilmi Ozkok held talks with senior Bushadministration officials on Tuesday regarding Turkey's role in anyU.S.-led war against Iraq. Ozkok was expected to discuss the military'srequest for new weapons as well as a write-off of a $4.2 billion arms debtby Ankara to Washington.
