U.S. PREPARES MILITARY PACKAGE FOR TURKEY

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The Bush administration has drafted a military aidpackage for Turkey. Turkish diplomatic sources said the administration has discussed apackage of both economic and military aid to Ankara. They said the value ofthe U.S. offer is about $1 billion and that Congress is already consideringup to $800 million of aid to Ankara.
