U.S. WAR AGAINST IRAQ WILL NOT AFFECT OIL SUPPLY

LONDON [MENL] -- A U.S.-led war on Iraq will not affect the world's oilsupply but will spark a huge price hike, a new report says. A report by the Economist Intelligence Unit asserts that GulfCooperation Council states will compensate for the loss of Iraqi oilsupplies during the war. The report, entitled "Showdown with Iraq: Risks andOpportunities for Politics and Business," envisioned oil skyrocketing to upto $40 a barrel for at least a week.
