JORDAN RAIDS CITY FOR INSURGENTS, WEAPONS

AMMAN [MENL] -- Jordanian troops have clashed with thousands of Islamicsupporters during a widescale search operation for insurgents and weapons. At least four people, including a police commander, were killed in afirefight between Jordanian special forces and Islamic gunmen in thesouthern city of Ma'an. Another 20 people were injured, half of themsecurity officers.
