JORDAN TARGETED TO ASSEMBLE SECURITY VEHICLES
AMMAN [MENL] -- Jordan plans to establish a new plant to assemble securityvehicles for the Middle East and Persian Gulf regions. The plant will be established and operated by a joint venture composedof Britain's Land Rover and Jordan's Ole Automative, a subsidiary of ShaheenBusiness and Investment. The facility, to be located in the southern city ofMa'an, is expected to be launched by July and will cost $100 million.
