ISRAEL PLANS LONG STAY IN W. BANK CITY

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Israel is said to be preparing for a long militarydeployment in the northern West Bank city of Nablus, regarded as a majorlaunching pad for Palestinian suicide attacks. Prime Minister Ariel Sharon said the military will stay in Nablus forfarlonger than the recent deployment in Jenin. The military remained threeweeks in the northern West Bank city.
