SYRIA SUPPLIES HUNDREDS OF NEW ROCKETS TO HIZBULLAH

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Syria has supplied hundreds of a new short-range rocketto the Iranian-backed Hizbullah in southern Lebanon. Israeli military sources said the supply began nearly two years ago andfocused on Syria's new 220 mm short-range rocket. The rocket, which was notnamed, has a range of 75 kilometers and is said to be an indigenous weaponof Syria's defense industry.
