SYRIA, TURKEY AGREE ON JOINT MILITARY TRAINING

ANKARA [MENL] -- Syria and Turkey have agreed to plan joint training forborder security forces. Officials said the two countries have drafted plans for joint patrolsand training of troops deployed along their mutual border. They said theplans mark a new stage in the military and security cooperation betweenAnkara and Damascus.
