GREECE LAUNCHES NEW PHASE OF ARMS DEALS

ATHENS [MENL] -- Greece plans to launch the next phase of its multi-billiondollar rearmament program. The government of Prime Minister Costas Simitis will embark on a 2.1billion euro project to procure European and U.S. attack helicopters as wellas upgrading its naval fleet. The procurement will continue through 2005.
