SYRIA WANTS TO SUPPLY CYPRUS WITH GAS

NICOSIA [MENL] -- Syria is ready to supply the Republic of Cyprus with threemillion cubic metres of natural gas daily through an underwater pipeline. "We take the matter of supplying Cyprus with natural gas very seriouslyand we are now ready to offer Cyprus the quantity of three million cubicmeters of natural gas per day," Syrian Oil Minister Ibrahim Haddad said.
