IRAN PROVIDES BALKANS WITH WEAPONS

LONDON [MENL] -- The prosecution of a European arms dealer has disclosedIran's weapons deals with such Balkan states as Bosnia and Croatia. The Iranian weapons trade with the Balkans was discussed in an appeal ofthe conviction of Belgian arms trafficker Jacques Monsieur. Monsieur, whoheld an Iranian diplomatic passport, appeared in a Brussels court to discusscharges that he supplied a range of Iranian weapons to European and SouthAmerican states.
