U.S. DELAYS ROADMAP UNTIL AFTER ISRAELI ELECTIONS

JERUSALEM [MENL] -- The United States is said to have decided to delay itsroadmap for a Palestinian state until after Israel's national elections onJan. 28. Palestinian sources said the Bush administration has relayed such amessage to both Israel and the Palestinian Authority. The sources said theadministration said the roadmap would not be ready by its target date ofDec. 20 and would probably be delayed until after the Israeli elections.
