ALGERIA, MOROCCO INTERESTED IN CZECH T-72 TANKS

LONDON [MENL] -- Algeria and Morocco are examining the prospect ofpurchasing T-72 main battle tanks from the Czech Republic. Czech officials said the two North African countries are among severalprospective buyers of up to 250 T-72 tanks being offered by Prague. Theexport deals could be concluded in 2003.
