F-16 MODIFICATIONS OFFERED TO MIDEAST CUSTOMERS

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The United States plans to offer modifications for theF-16 multi-role fighter to Middle East clients. The producer of the F-16, Lockheed Martin, has completed themodifications on its latest version of the combat aircraft. Themodifications are being installed under Lockheed Martin's CommonConfiguration Implementation Program. The U.S. Air Force is testing andevaluating the modified aircraft, completed in October, at the air force'sOgden Air Logistics Center, Utah, the prime depot for the F-16.
