ISRAEL'S MILITARY PLANS CRACKDOWN ON DISOBEDIENCE

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Israel's military plans to crack down on soldiers whodisobey orders in an attempt to halt a government plan to withdraw from theGaza Strip and northern West Bank in September 2005. Israeli military sources said commanders and officers were being trainedto detect signs of insubordination within their units. The sources said thecommanders were warned that soldiers might have been influenced by theemerging campaign of civil disobedience meant to halt any withdrawal fromthe northern West Bank and Gaza Strip and the forcible evacuation of theirnearly 10,000 Israeli residents.
