UAE APPOINTS MILITARY CoS

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- The United Arab Emirates has appointed a new militarychief of staff. UAE President Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan named Maj. Gen. HamadMohammad Thani Al Rumaithi to the post of military chief of staff. AlRumaithi, a career officer, was promoted from his current post as deputychief of staff.
