TURKEY MOVES TO BUY OUT LOCKHEED MARTIN

ANKARA [MENL] -- The Defense Ministry has moved to buy out LockheedMartin's stake in Turkey's leading defense contractor. The state-owned Turkish Aircraft Industries, or Tusas, has completed an initial deal for the purchase of Lockheed Martin's stake in Turkish Aerospace Industries. Lockheed Martin holds a 42 percent interest in Turkish Aerospace,regarded as the second largest defense company in Turkey.
