KUWAIT ESTABLISHES FUND TO COMBAT AL QAIDA

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Kuwait has established a fund to combat the influence ofAl Qaida. The fund has been launched by the Islamic Affairs Ministry in an efforttocounter Al Qaida's ideology. Officials said the government has allocated 5.5million dinars, or more than $14 million, to the fund.
