UAE ORDERS 32 NBC VEHICLES

LONDON [MENL] -- The United Arab Emirates has ordered 32 nuclear, biologicaland chemical defense vehicles from Germany. The UAE military has ordered the Fox NBC armored reconnaissance vehiclefrom Germany's Rheinmetall. The 160 million euro deal was announced atIDEX-2005 in Abu Dhabi in February, but executives said the agreement wasconcluded during the visit by German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder to the UAEon March 5.
