UAE ORDERS TORPEDOES FROM EUROPE

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- The United Arab Emirates plans to procure torpedoes fromEurope. The UAE military has ordered A244/s torpedoes from Eurotorp, a French-Italian consortium. Executives said the contract was valued at 12 million euros, but did not disclose a delivery schedule.
