BP EXAMINES EGYPTIAN ENERGY FIND

CAIRO [MENL] -- BP Egypt has launched a project to determine the extent ofits energy find off the Mediterranean coast. BP Egypt awarded a contract to a Norwegian company to conduct tests ofthe Raven-1, a discovery located off the Egyptian coast and reported in 2004. Underthe contract, Petroleum Geo-Services, based in Oslo, would conduct amulti-azimuth 3D seismic acquisition survey of Raven-1.
