WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The Middle East has been described as a major marketfor the production of and trade in cluster munitions. A new report has identified several Middle East countries, including Egypt, Iran and Israel, as producersof cluster munitions. The report also cited U.S. assistance to Middle East allies in cluster munitions.
