TURKEY DETAILS ISRAELI UAV PROJECT

ANKARA [MENL] -- Turkey has provided the first details of an unmanned aerialvehicle project awarded to Israel. Turkey's Defense Industries Undersecretariat, or SSM, confirmed thatAnkara has awarded a project to the state-owned Israel Aircraft Industriesand Elbit Systems. SSM said on Tuesday that the award called for the supplyof three UAV systems in a project meant to end in 2008.
