ZARQAWI CONTINUES TO USE SYRIA AS HAVEN

BAGHDAD [MENL] -- The Al Qaida network of Abu Mussib Al Zarqawi continues toemploy Syria as a haven for its insurgency campaign in neighboring Iraq. U.S. officials said Al Zarqawi's network in Iraq has been using Syriafor recruitment, supplies and training in the offensive against the U.S.-ledcoalition in Iraq. They said that despite repeated warnings by the Bushadministration Syria has refused to dismantle the Zarqawi network or blockits movements to and from Iraq.
