ISRAELI FIRM RECEIVES ORDER TO UP-ARMOR BRADLEY
WASHINGTON [MENL] -- A leading Israeli defense firm has received acontract to supply enhanced armor for the U.S. Army fleet of Bradleyinfantry fighting vehicles deployed in Iraq. Rafael, Israel Armament Development Authority has received an order forthe production of enhanced-capability reactive armor for the BradleyFighting Vehicle System. Rafael would work under prime contractor GeneralDynamics Armament and Technical Products, awarded a $13.8 millionmodification from the U.S. Army's TACOM/ARDEC, located in Picatinny, N.J.
