TURKEY'S MILITARY SEEKS WESTERN TECHNOLOGY

ANKARA [MENL] -- Turkey's military has issued a call for advanced Westerntechnology. The Turkish General Staff has invited leading Western experts to aconference as part of an effort to introduce advanced technology to themilitary. The conference by the military would include former senior U.S.officials who would address the issue of Turkey's technology gap.
