U.S. LAUNCHES CI OPERATION IN ANBAR

BAGHDAD [MENL] -- The U.S. military has launched another operation in Iraq'sAl Anbar province near the Syrian border. Officials said the U.S. Marine Corps began Operation New Market onWednesday along the Euphrates River. The focus of the operation was Haditha,a major city in Anbar and bereft of an Iraqi police force.
